Sorry its been so long without any news from MICS but no news does not mean we have not been doing anything ;-). So over the winter we have taken ownership of our brand new Kubota medical UTV that everyone most generously donated to during our largest fund raising event. Attached you will see a picture of the new unit even though it is NOT on mudge yet.
You will also see a couple pictures of the Firefighting and medical skid that we have also finally taken delivery of as it was a long build for the unit. The skid has placement for a stretcher and also has a built in first response fire fighting setup with pump, tank and drafting capability’s.
The major need for us to require this type of Medical/Firefighting unit was to be able to retrieve and transport medical emergency individuals easily and safely from any mudge location to Moonshine cove or the heli pad to evacuation to a local hospital, with the added bonus of ability to respond with firefighting equipment and transport BC ambulance.
Again we would like to thank everyone on Mudge for your continued support and donations. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming equipment training and hope you all show up.
